【Welcome to the Peculiar Games】

【Once you pass Instances, you can obtain everything you want—wealth, authority, health…anything】

In the thirty-sixth year of the Peculiar Game’s descent into the world, Qi Si was pulled into an instance.

Grey fog and yellow clouds blanketed the sky, demons and monsters roamed the streets, withered trees rose from the ground, and piles of skeletons and rotting flesh littered the landscape.

This is not reality; morality and conscience hold no sway here. This is not chaos, for there are inviolable laws and rules.

Qi Si investigated these rules closely, uncovering numerous loopholes to exploit.

——

The rules feed on the gods, and the gods use all beings as sacrifices.

The Peculiar Games is a snare, with the eerie resurgence as its medium.

Beneath the cold, austere veil lies unspeakable horror.

Unwilling to be bound by fate, Si Qi broke free from his shackles.

He tore apart morality, dancing alone on the borders of black and white; he defied the rules and built his own throne.

In this world, he is not a god, yet the Peculiar Games has long prepared a divine seat for him, welcoming him with a feast of death.

TL’s note:

Instances, sometimes known as dungeons, are environments in games to which players can travel in order to encounter various enemies, bosses often included. (Giant Bomb, 2024)
