The sound of waves crashing like shattering glass, and the cool breeze.
The sun blazed overhead, but the beach was not unbearably hot.
They told us to pick a date, but I never thought we’d come this soon.
Just three days after facing Venom Cribel, we gathered on the beach at the edge of the Akal Empire.

The plan was six nights and seven days—a week-long trip.

Rose used magic to lift both herself and her luggage, flying straight through the window into the villa.
