Online Service Provider Safe Harbor Status
Enuma Novel is an online service provider as defined under Title II of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). We provide a public hosting and reading platform for original digital literature created and posted by independent third-party users and authors.
While we do not actively monitor, prescreen, or inspect all content submitted by users, we expeditiously respond to legitimate copyright infringement claims submitted in accordance with statutory procedures.
Required Elements of a Valid DMCA Notice
To enable prompt evaluation and avoid administrative delays, your written notice must contain all six (6) statutory elements required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
Counter-Notification Procedure
If an author believes their content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake, misidentification, or fair use, they may submit a counter-notice in writing pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we promptly forward a copy to the original complaining party. If the claimant does not notify us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore access to the disabled material.
Repeat Infringer Termination Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Enuma Novel has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts of authors and users who are deemed to be repeat copyright infringers.
